Academia Europaea Wroclaw Knowledge Hub has a pleasure to invite to the lectures of AE Member Prof. Lieven D’hulst from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, that are part of the conference PÉRIPHÉRIES – CENTRES – TRADUCTION (program is available here in polish and french), organised by the Institute of Romance Studies of the University of Wrocław.
Lieven D’hulst is a full professor of French and Francophone literature and of Translation Studies at KU Leuven (Belgium), where he heads the Research Group “Translation and Intercultural Transfer”. He is a member of the editorial board of Target. International Journal of Translation Studies and the co-director of a series “Traductologie” at “Artois Presses Université” (France). He is also a member of the Academia Europaea (Cambridge). His actual research topics include: intercultural mediation in Belgium (19th century), transfer techniques (including translation), the history of translation and of translation studies.
