The subject of XII International Student Conference “Politics & Society in Central and Eastern Europe” is Civic participation and political culture across CEE. This one-day conference is designated to young and advanced scholars from the CEE, interested in current developments in Central and Eastern European politics and societies, giving them the opportunity to present their own research results.
The program consists of plenary and panel sessions.
The keynote speakers are Irena Todorova, PhD and assistant professor at New Bulgarian University, that specializes in political culture, political participation and democracy and Lubomír Kopeček, PhD, Associate Professor of Political Science and Vice-head of the International Institute of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic, he specializes in comparative politics and Czech politics.
