Grzegorz Synowiec
Bio: PhD Grzegorz Synowiec is a Deputy Director of the Climate and Energy Division, Municipality of Wroclaw Geographer, doctor of natural sciences at the University of Wroclaw, associated with local government for almost 20 years. Involved in the city’s activities in the field of: environmental aspects in spatial planning, monitoring and implementation of the Wroclaw City Adaptation Plan to Climate Change, development of blue-green infrastructure and nature-based solutions in urbanized space. Member of the team implementing the Climate Neutral and Smart Cities Mission in Wroclaw, the aim of which is to develop and implement the Climate City Contract together with an action plan and an investment plan defining the path for Wroclaw to achieve climate neutrality. Co-author of scientific publications in the field of environmental protection and spatial planning.
