Monika Pec-Święcicka

Bio: Monika Pec-Święcicka – deputy director of the Municipal Greenery Board in Wrocław, Municipal Landscape Architect, Certified Tree Inspector and Greenery Maintenance Inspector.

Gained knowledge at universities in Wrocław, Brno, Valencia, Berlin and London, and practiced in design offices in Hamburg, Valencia and her hometown – Wrocław. Has worked as a landscape architect designer, social activist, scientist, lecturer, manager of green areas and currently as an official, combining and implementing the acquired knowledge and experience.

Her mission is to improve the quality of life in her hometown of Wrocław by protecting existing natural resources, as well as increasing the number, quality and accessibility of green areas.

In her private life, she is a mother of two, a runner, alpine and cross-country skier, mountain biker, hill hiker and a lover of reading biographies and crime novels.
