Bridging the Gap: Advancing Women’s Careers in Academia and Beyond – Panel Discussion
Join the Online Panel Discussion – June 12, 2025
Academia Europaea is pleased to invite scientists, scholars, and professionals committed to equity in science to join an important online event addressing persistent gender disparities in research and academia.
Despite progress, many women and mothers navigating research careers, continue to face structural and cultural barriers in science. On June 12, a panel of leading researchers and academy representatives will examine these challenges, share their personal paths, effective initiatives and try to outline concrete steps toward lasting change.
The panel discussion, “Bridging the Gap: Advancing Women’s Careers in Academia and Beyond,” will bring together voices from Academia Europaea, the Hungarian, Austrian, and Polish Academies of Sciences, and the Hungarian Association of Women in Science. Discussions will be grounded in lived experience, supported by data, and focused on actionable reform.
