Joanna Zdanowska

Bio: Graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Warsaw School of Economics.
In 2008, she began working at the Ministry of Environment as a specialist in the field of EU funds for environmental protection. Within the time of 15 years of her job for the Ministry, she dealt with infrastructural projects in the field of water and sewage management, waste management and nature protection. She was responsible for creating and coordinating The 2030 National Environmental Policy – the Development Strategy in the Area of the Environment and Water Management, which was adopted by the Council of Ministers in 2019.
She also worked on the implementation of the project management system in public administration.
Since 2020 until now she supervises the strategical projects of the Ministry such as the “GreenEvo – Green Technology Accelerator Program” and the “Partnership: Environment for Development” project started in 2024.
