Michael North is Professor and Chair of Modern History at the University of Greifswald, Honorary Doctor of the University of Tartu and Director of the International Graduate Program “Baltic Borderlands”. Between 2007-2010 he acted as Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research and Internationalization of Greifswald University.
